So I got my room assignment

For the next year, and prolly longer I will be living in room 1, suite 8, 8th floor of Loyola. So that means 8-8-1. Yay. I am far from the top (there are 21 floors) so I wont have long elavator waits to get to class and if I have to evacuate during a fire alarm it won't be such a pain in the ass.

Last year I was only on 4 and people made you feel like shit for using the elavator. That didnt make sense. Just because there are 21 floors, it doesnt make carrying my heavy laundry up 4 floors of stairs with acess keys and doors all the way up. I mean when these people go to the Student Center (5 floors) HAVE YOU EVER seen anyone take the stairs up to the SMUSA office (5th floor). No... I didn't think so. I have never even seen anyone ever walk it up to the 3rd floor. Everyone takes the old run down elavators that take forever to open and close. Also there are only 2 of them and sometimes it can be a huse pain in the ass waiting. Well in Loyola there are 4 (unless one is broken which one always is...it just rotates which one it is) and they are super fast. So why the hell shouldn't I take it to the fourth floor. Well I am sure as hell taking it to the 8th. No one can say shit about that.

This is gonna be great.

Well I think I will be moving down September 5th (Sunday), unless something else happens and we decide to go Monday. Classes only start on Wednesday. Monday is labour day though and nothing will be open. If i go down Sunday I will have to get all settled in and bring some food with me to survive until Tuesday. Or else I could just eat out for a few days. But I really have to conserve funds this year. I will have to get a student line of credit this year, but in a way I am kind of glad. Paying for last year was a close one, and I just the other week paid it off. So, as of now I have enough money to pay for my first semester of apartment. $2375. oh and a whole extra $100. so I have to get this much more money:
$5500 tuition
$2575 second semestor apartment (the first semester had my $250 deposit taken off)
$600 books
$1500 food
= $10175
so that totals $12550 for the year.
That means something must be missing cause last year cost me almost $14,000
what could it be
hmm lets see, membership fees to clubs... I'll say $50
ooo attending conferences $200 to $300
so lets say $350
I will need to buy some new clothes somewhere in there $300
and I might want to get a little bit of money put on a meal card for exam time $100.
$750.
So that equals $13,300.

Sounds good. Am I forgetting anything?
Oh yes and my allowance will suffice for my living expenses of things like toothbrush, toothpaste, beer, and the occasional movie. $30 a week. so thats...$960 for the school year. so that is ...
$14,260 for this year. That sounds right. and really livable. And I dont think it will even cost me that much because I am going to have my own laundry stuff and wont be feeding my money into the laundry room at school. Whahahaha.
