st. Matts 

I went to church tonight. It was interesting. The jury is still out on if i liked it. It is a contemporary service so I think I just have to get used to different ideas. It was a very personal setting. People didnt sit in the pews. We sat in chairs in a semi circle around the table that had white candles all over it. This was a service that was supposed to be meditational around music. So there was a ton of music which was really just one verse of a song sung about 5-6 times repeatedly and the last time without the music. Made an eery effect.

Also tonight I had communion. The people were very welcoming, especially the elderly lady who told us more than once that they were so glad we could join them and that "next week won't be so mellow, we are doing some negro music so it will be rocking." and followed up with an old ladies version of a "rocking" dance. She was a cute lady. Tonight sparked my interest to go back for more and see what else they've got. I think i would also like to take in the traditional service in the morning for old times sakes. I wont get up every sunday morning for it but i might make it the odd time.

just thinking 

I just saw a candid picture someone took of a place on their lunch break. I figured out why i dont like to take pictures of places i visit unless there is no people in the picture or they have agreed to it. I feel like their image is copyrighted. ANd me taking a picture of them is infringing on their rights. Like really....if i was a professional photographer in the artsy way and i took a picture of 3 women on the street talking to one another and it made a million dollars. Should i owe the 3 women something for using their conversation/time/image ? Maybe i am just wierd. I would never make a good poparazzi. (spl?) This also leads to another question. How many pictures around the world and through all time am i in that the photographer i dont even know? Like say in australia...i am prolly in a bunch of japanese peoples photo albums chasing pelicans in the background. Just things like that. Isn't it vierd? Like you may be a small little piece of everyones memory that they can actually see you have affected.

Jin is a chinese MC on the Ruff Rider lable. He has a song called hey jin or something that i remember hearing on the radio in the summer. Who would have thunk? Now he has a song out called "learn chinese".

I like him. He's nifty. He reminds me of Sunny....if sunny were to wrap. Sunny is not on a mission to get me ugg boots and to get a bunch to sell on ebay since there seems to be very few going for under $250 on there.

pink ones for $350 and if you gots the fluffy on the outside ones then woooo baby you gots yourself a cool $500. If i could have predicted this 2 years ago i would have filled my big red suitcase. Damn it. I thought they were cool. Why didnt i figure hollywood actors would want to wear them to premiers and the such. I thought the mall was riske.

I got a purse today even though i cant afford it. But it was in the collinade and it is dogs playing poker graphics purse with little diamonds all over it. It looks the same as the pillows in a window on spring garden. It just strikes my artsy creative side and i had to have it.

I think i have to do something about tim. He expects me to sleep over and cuddle every night since i did it the one night when he dumped his girlfriend. I guess i'm not comfy cuddling with friends? but maybe that not even it. I think i am uncomfy cause i feel like i am leading him on. yeah, i guess i am. I will tell him later today that i cant see this going anywhere. I hope he doesnt freak. He likes a girl who lives in the states from back when she was in Kenya and she recently started talking to him again. So maybe that will soften the blow?

getting old 

know how i can tell? Cause i have a huge wallet....not money in it though, other junk. Paper of all colors and sizes, in a long leather wallet which old women tend to favour. Except the older you get the more flowers are printed on the long wallet.

Also, I am beginning to forget to use the ATM machine...i am hitting buttons cause i dont really read the screen cause i am above and beyond giving a shit what it says. I entered my pin 3 times today. Neato.

As well, the post office is becoming a bit of a hang out for me. I just have so many things that need to be done there. This has never been a party of weekly life before. I am now one of those women who spend 15 minutes doing about 5 different things at the desk while hauling out their long leather/flowered wallet and putting papers in various piles and generally making a mess and wasting peoples time. But i dont care, i'm about and beyond that. You can wait for me, i have important paper work to send off different places. I have people and gov't agencies to pay money too because tghey fucked up, this visit totalling a mere $100 of fuck up money that the student loan people have caused. They are also causing visits to other places where i dump my purse and waste time in order to get the forms to waste time at the post office with.

Plus i am now starting to send things to people instead of seeing them in person. I think i will send ross a shirt. But he said he might be coming down this weekend. Alright so i guess i will wait to give it to him in person. The old lady in me really wants to send it though so i have another task for the post people.

I say people cause there are hardly any post-men now a days. I find that recently there are a heck of a lot more WOMEN working everywhere and less men. The men are prolly either home sitting on their ass. Or if you have a good man, he might be home cleaning the house so you dont have to have both jobs of house maker and provider. But some men think they are king shit and having a penis makes it so they dont have to do these things.

Strange that is. Women want to prove they can do everything men can do, but men dont even try. Maybe they know we have it shitty, or maybe they dont want to try because they will fail?
Who knows.

I'm just an old lady feminist. Maybe i will go buy a flowered wallet.

we did forget. I was there once though. I didnt even think about it. I have no legs...well i do but i may as well not have them for the pain they are causing me. I went to the gym and have walked the equivalent from here to mexico in the past 2 days. I am so sore. Sara is coming over to sew with me. I dunno i fi will make it down the stairs. I might have to take the elevator from the fourth floor...........

Trinidadian Psycho 

IS IN MY CLASS! Comparitive Economics 315. 30 people. The only 315 offered this semester. He sits on the farthest left seat of the middle rows of seats. I sit on the back rightest window seat. He has no friends. No one talks to him. I talk to Donald. The pick yer nose and eat it fat guy with a skin disorder who is in 2 other classes of mine. So far.... it's Krista 1, Shiva NONE.
I am going to be way better at this class than him too. Oh and it is a second year course and he is in 4th year supposedly. But once i saw files that said he had gotten almost all D's. Maybe he has to take some second year over.

i am back in hali.


Anyways, on to better things. I was thinking about pumpkin and she really is a pretty rabbit. She is orange and brown and black all crazy designed. I think it is called tortoise. She loves to have her face rubbed.

I want a video card with at least 64mb on it. I want a computer that allows me to insert that somewhere. I formatted. Again. It's a habit. When a crack junkies life goes bad he does crack, when mine goes bad i format. She's running like a charm. I am now going to post how to format so next time i do it and forget a step i can go somewhere or call someone to come here and look it up.

HOW TO FORMAT WINDOWS 2000:

put black floppy in that says boot disk 98.
restart computer
A: will show up
type- format c:/s
then it will do a bunch of stuff
then hit Y for yes.
It will start formatting. When it is done it will be at A: again.
Then put the windows 2000 prof disc in cd rom. Even though it is the D: drive you have to say it is the E: drive. So type E: at the A: thinger. so now it is E:
then type i386\winnt32.exe

then let er go and click some ok's and yes's and wait about an hour. Then install everything. You will need the winzip disk to unzip the drivers for everything.

little fart 

poor little fart is going to become my parents first "grandchild project". Pumpkin shall be spending AT MOST 2 months with ma parents. Now i will see how fat she gets and hear some stories and see if they can be trusted when down the road i need a baby sitter for one of my brats. I have a feeling i am going to have very plump very spoiled and very bratty miniature krista's running around. Hopefully a few ross's will be thrown in there....oh and i guess some of who ever my husband is. This makes no sense. I will try again later when i am back in hali.
